Our Story
Imagine by Northpoint provides structured, day-based mental health programs for teens, helping families access clear, consistent support while their child continues to live at home.
Our Mission
We help teens develop their voice, build confidence and coping tools for life’s ups and downs, and strengthen their relationships with the people who matter most.
Our History
Imagine is part of the Northpoint family of treatment centers, built on years of evidence-based mental health care. As Northpoint expanded, we saw a growing need for teen support designed specifically for adolescents, not a scaled-down version of adult care.
In March 2020, Imagine by Northpoint was created to meet that need. Increasing stress, academic pressure, trauma, and other challenges have contributed to rising rates of anxiety, depression, and related concerns among teens.

How We Support Teens
Our programs focus on helping struggling adolescents through a season of rapid change, giving them tools to build coping skills, emotional regulation, and stability in ways that benefit their lives now and as they grow into adulthood.
Today, our centers across Idaho, Colorado, Nebraska, and Washington provide trauma-informed care for teens who need more support than once-weekly therapy but don’t need inpatient treatment.
In spaces that feel welcoming and comfortable, we focus on root causes, steady progress, and family involvement so teens feel supported and parents aren’t left guessing what comes next.

What to Expect in Our Teen Treatment Programs
Our outpatient programs support teens ages 12–17 who are dealing with mental health challenges, with or without substance use concerns. Care is structured, supportive, and relevant to what teens are experiencing, meeting them where they are in life and keeping them engaged as they stay connected to school and home.
The focus stays on steady support, clear structure, and helping teens move forward with confidence.

About Our Programs and Levels of Care
Our programs are built to meet teens where they are and support real, steady growth. We focus on helping teens build confidence, learn practical coping tools, and strengthen relationships that support long-term well-being.
Each level of care offers structure, guidance, and flexibility, so teens can get the support they need while continuing to engage with daily life. Below is an overview of our core program options, each designed to provide the right level of care at the right time.
Intensive Outpatient
Program (IOP)
After-school care 3 days a week for about 3 hours per day for teens who need more structure than weekly appointments. Most programs run 8–12 weeks.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Day treatment Monday through Friday for 6+ hours per day for teens who need the highest level of outpatient support. Typically a 4-6 week program, with school coordination and medication support as needed.
Virtual Mental Health Programs
Online care for teens who can’t attend in person, delivered on a set schedule and led by our clinical team to keep support consistent.
