Teen Substance Use Disorder Treatment in Seattle, WA
Care that gives teens the skills to make safer choices and move forward with more control.

Support to Help Teens Recover
When substance use starts shaping a teen’s choices, parents may worry about what happens as their teen gains more freedom. More independence can bring more peer pressure, less supervision, bigger consequences, and more chances to fall back into old patterns.
At Imagine, treatment focuses on the skills teens need to handle that independence in healthier ways. Teens work on decision-making, emotional regulation, cravings, accountability, and coping skills so they can respond to stress, social pressure, and difficult moments without relying on substances.

Substance-Related Issues We Treat
Substance use can interfere with how teens make decisions, handle responsibility, and respond to pressure. We support teens facing challenges such as:
- Alcohol, marijuana, vaping, or other drug use
- Risk-taking while under the influence
- Skipping school, missing responsibilities, or losing motivation
- Difficulty saying no in social situations
- Cravings, urges, or repeated attempts to cut back
- Hiding substance use or minimizing the problem
- Using substances to cope with stress, anxiety, sadness, or anger
- Trouble rebuilding trust after unsafe choices

Our Levels of Care
We offer multiple levels of care so teens can receive the support and structure that fit their needs, daily routine, and clinical recommendation while continuing to live at home.
Please note that summer hours may vary. Contact the facility directly for information on summer hours.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
After-school care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4-7 PM. Programs typically run 8-12 weeks and include individual, group, and family therapy.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Day treatment Monday–Friday 9 AM to 3:30 PM for teens who need a higher level of support. This 4-6 week program includes meals and school coordination.
Virtual Programs
Online treatment for teens who can’t attend in person. In some markets, programming may be offered in a hybrid format. Care stays structured, consistent, and led by our clinical team.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment Available
Many teens struggling with substance use are also dealing with underlying mental health challenges. Treating both at the same time helps reduce relapse risk and supports more stable progress.

Care That Prepares Teens for Real Life
Substance use recovery has to work outside the program. Teens need skills they can use at school, with friends, during conflict, when cravings hit, and when no one is watching.
At Imagine, care gives teens a structured place to practice those skills before they gain more independence. Family support is included where it strengthens communication, boundaries, and follow-through at home.
This approach helps teens build the confidence, structure, and coping skills they need to make safer choices as they move toward more independence.
